OVERVIEW

Corporate Services at Morgan Stanley provides a number of applications that service employees, either personally at work, or in their roles. The current state is a collection of disjointed and disconnected legacy experiences and applications that does not promote the value Corporate Services provides to the company. We aimed to change that.

The Challenge

1. Develop a brand system and new visual identity that created a unified experience across communication touch points and digital platforms.

 

2. Promote outward-facing employee centric content/capabilities and a strategy that is more actionable.

 

3. Create an employee-centric ecosystem that is cohesive, dynamic, connected, and holistic while providing more immediate discoverability of content, tools, and services across the Firm.

 

4. Leverage highly flexible platforms that enable more seamless content authorship & management, search engine optimization, and analytics.

Full-Scale Audit

We needed to solve forthe current state of disjointed and disconnected legacy experiences and applications. Our solution was to provide a full scale audit performed with each leadership department head. This step provided insight and a path to make content, tools and services immediately discoverable. Our site map and wire frames were designed for a comprehensive content management system, making it easy to manage marketing content and assets.

The Brand System

Our brand graphic, the ribbon, was inspired by the five functional businesses of Corporate Services and displays connection and unification.  

 

With inventive mechanisms and variations to the art as well as the development of UI asset libraries, we creating synergy across the entire ecosystem in order to create harmony across employee touchpointsand platforms.

The Mobile App

This consistent user experience, brand identity and UI was then implemented within applications such as MyHub. MyHub is a mobile productivity and communications tool for employees and visitors to interact with Morgan Stanley services, resources, and office buildings. 

The Ecosystem

The final result is an employee-centric ecosystem that is cohesive, dynamic, connected, holistic and provides more immediate discoverability of Corporate Services content, tools, and services across the Firm.
